Boswellia frereanna is used for anxiety, asthma, bronchitis, extreme coughing, scars, stress, stretch marks. Frankincense frereana is especially prized for its skin rejuvenating properties. Its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and analgesic properties can be attributed to its high levels of pinene, thujene and cymene. When added to a carrier oil, it smooths the appearance of wrinkles, scars, dry and damaged skin. It can help promote natural healing of a wound or cut. When diffused, Frankincense frereana supports your immune system and can be calming and relaxing, thereby uplifting your mood.

With golden yellow flowers and feathery leaves, it is a perennial herb tree which is known for its sweet and spicy fragrance.

The variety is high in pinene, thujene and cymene giving it great anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antispasmodic and analgesic properties. Frankincense Frereana essential oil also commonly known as "Maydi" is the “King of all Frankincense". For thousands of years, spiritual leaders have used Frankincense during worship and meditation.
